Tre Sagg（i 3人の賢者たち）という名前は、自らが属している地域と大きな相乗効果を 生み出せるワインを作りたいというタラモンティワイナリーの意欲を表しています。3人 の総大司教、アブラーモ、イザッコ、ジャッコベは、アブルッツォの絵画による芸術表現 の極みとされる、Giudizio Particolareという題名のフレスコ画に登場します。このフレ スコ画は、ダンテの「神曲」からヒントを得たと言われていて、タラモンティワイナリー からわずか4キロのところにあるピアーノ聖マリア教会に所蔵されています。フレスコ 画は、洗礼を受けていない幼児たちの辺極・罪人たちの地獄・審判を待つ魂の煉獄・善 人たちの天国を通過してたどり着く「来世」への旅を表現した傑作です。この超越した 旅の結末は「第六日」です。
