Der Name des Weines „Tre Saggi“ (Drei Weise) entstammt vor allem dem Bestreben von Talamonti, einen direkten Bezug zum Ursprungsgebiet zu schaffen. Die „Tre Saggi“ repräsentieren die drei Patriarchen: Abraham, Isaak und Jakob, die auf dem Fresko mit der Darstellung des jüngsten Gerichtes zu sehen sind, das als eines der bedeutendsten Kunstwerke in der Malerei der Abruzzen gilt. Das Fresko aus dem frühen 15. Jahrhundert befindet sich in der wunderschönen Architektur der Kirche Santa Maria in Piano von Loreto Aprutino und ist tatsächlich nur 4 km vom Weingut Talamonti entfernt.
